The Chesterfield Drive Practice

Reception glitch

I really rate this practice, I am happy to be a patient here. Appointments are pretty reasonable and all the doctors/nurses that I have seen have been very good. There was a glitch today however, for some reason I couldn't book in at the screen so I got into the small queue at reception. The receptionist was trying to book in a baby to see a clinician that afternoon following a health visitor's advice. Resolving this took some time and the queue got longer and longer which I think flustered the receptionist. Maybe a system for someone else in the practice to take up more complicated issues from reception would be more efficient? Just a thought.
