Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

The experience once you have an appointment with the phlebotomist is excellent but getting an appointment is extremely difficult. There are no longer any "drop in" appointments and it seems a phlebotomist is on hand to help people sign in and register and so is not actually available to take blood. Many elderly people needing blood tests find it hard to get to the Health Centre and prefer to arrive and get a ticket and wait their turn. They do not like to ring up, press buttons on the phone and wait to make the appointment
