Thetford Healthy Living Centre

I had my cataract treated about 3 months ago and it couldn't have been better. The lady I saw explained everything really well and was very reassuring.

The cataract operation carried out here was done brilliantly and the staff were so reassuring and calming. Really can't fault the service at all.

Booked yesterday for appointment today, it has been the simplest nicest COVID jab experience I've had since the very first one. Was also offered flu jab which is a brilliant idea and means it's all done and dusted at once. Lovely friendly welcome all running like clockwork which hasn't always been the experience at other locations. Absolutely fantastic experience for which I can only thank you all. My husband and I have had X rays here before and that has always been a positive experience also.

Recently had my cataracts done here and I was really happy with the operation and how it all went. I was kept well informed about the process and expect a call for a check up in 10 days time.

I had arrived late due to this being my first visit and I went to the wrong place initially, I turned up at the appointment 10 minutes late and did not expect to be able to be seen, but the nurse made time for me anyway.

I was recently referred to HLC by my GP for 2 X-rays. My appointment was within days of my phone call. The centre is easy to find with lots of parking. Inside it was easy to find the department as there are lots of signs. I was seen on time and found all members of staff incredibly helpful and friendly. I was told when my results would be back with my GP. I’d definitely recommend attending if you need an X-ray.

i was booked in for tests at Thetford healthy living centre, i went straight to reception, gave my name and was told to sit and wait. I sat and waited, watching others come and go, but my name was not called. Finally, after nearly an hour, I went back to the reception to ask what was happening, only to be told I hadn't been booked in. I was told i would need to contact Grove Lane Surgery to rebook the appointment. I have just spoke with grove lane who told me that I hadn't been booked in, then they claim the receptionist at healthy living centre had called my name and I hadn't responded. So how can they claim that my name was called if I hadn't booked in? A complete waste of not only my time but that of my friend who was sitting outside in the car waiting for me as i was unable to transport myself owing to my current mobility issues. Absolutely appalling, shameful and disgraceful way to be treated.

Popped in on off chance with two older teens. One for booster and one for 2nd jab. Staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Just need to find next walk in dates now…. Highly recommend.

All my Wife's and my own experiences experiences here have been very good, I was finding it impossible to book booster appointments online. the nearest was 8.5 miles away! I was told to keep trying, without success after 2 weeks I phone The Centre and was helped by [two members of staff]! all sorted. Thank you guys.
