It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Turning Point

A wait for a poor overall service

My daughter had to wait weeks for a basic community detox which left her in a vulnerable position prior to detox and she was only able to complete it with committed parental intervention. That said the input has not gained a relationship to help her on her continued journey and she relapsed the day her treatment finished. I am left confused as to what we were waiting for. She was promised a robust clinical team support, she saw no one. She was promised psychiatric support afterwards, nothing transpired. I have had to push for further involvement as she is not able to make decisions. There is no thinking like an addict thinks, ie they are here now so let’s get on with it! It’s hard as alcohol pushes people away.
