Original feedback for

Waterton Pharmacy

Poor communication

My teenage son has been prescribed medication for acne. The GP surgery (who share the same building) prescribed a cream but the pharmacy can't order it because it's out of stock. I have driven back and forth to the pharmacy waiting for the cream, but they failed to tell me it wasn't available on the first few visits. They did't tell the GP either, so the script was left unfilled. On a subsequent visit to try again, I had to go back and forth between the GP surgery and the pharmacy to tell one what the other said. Its been a month now, 8 wasted trips to the pharmacy and still no cream. All that needs to happen is the GP needs to prescribe a different, available, cream and they need to talk to each other! Or just call me to tell me they can't fulfill the prescription. Another wasted trip this morning. I called the surgery to confirm a prescription had been sent to the pharmacy and this was done 6 days ago, I then arrive at the pharmacy to be told the surgery sent a prescription for the cream that can't be ordered again. But the pharmacy didn't tell me or them! Back to the surgery reception I went. I'm now home, with no cream and no idea when or if it will ever be available.
