Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Original feedback for

West Suffolk Hospital

Quick service

I was booked to go to A & E by the 111 service following a cat bite which had caused my finger to be red and glowing and look like a light bulb in shape. I was met by a receptionist and passed to a doctor and then on to another doctor who wrote me a prescription, the whole trip to A & E took less that a quarter of an hour. This took place during the doctors strike.
