Appealing attitudes in the NHS
It was both as a relative and as an observer. It was just the appealing attitudes of staff. It was three years ago and I don't remember the wards number, both G wards. I complained at the hospital. My mother was in a bed and she became friendly with the patient opposite and when I saw her previously she had been sitting in a chair, when I saw her later she was in a bed and the hospital staff told me that she had fallen. I learned from the women opposite that she had been lying on floor for some time and that she had to draw this to the attention to the staff. She was also lying in a saturated bed. I told staff, they said they would change her sheets. Over an hour passed before she was dealt with. It wasn't just my mother, there were others in the ward suffering the same. I believe this is still the way the NHS treats people.
