Original feedback for

West Suffolk Hospital

Nurse with no bedside manner and poor care

Taken to A&E At 7pm took 2.25hours to be seen, once seen staff were very good. Had to wait till 3am for bed. First ward I was was put on was very good was there for one night, then moved to respiratory ward and put in a isolation room. Here is where it went wrong. Nurses trying to give me the wrong dose of medications, signing to say I had had injections, when I had not. Left for hours own my own, nurse unable To put in new cannula, after 4 attempt I said leave it, 6 hours later another nurse done it first time. I sat/slept in a blood stained bed for 3 days and had to ask for sheets to be changed. On 10th night I was moved to another ward at 10.30pm, no one came to check on me till 8.30am. I discharged myself that day. I would have rather gone home and died then stay at this hospital another day.
