Original feedback for

West Suffolk Hospital

Helpful staff, great overall service

I had my baby at WSH via elective c section. From my first appointment I felt my wishes were respected and that staff understood and supported my request for a section. The procedure was delayed due to an unusually high number of emergencies but I was kept updated throughout the day and the staff did their best to fit me in by the end of the day. The procedure was relaxed (even fun!) and all staff were friendly throughout. I also found the hospital's acceptance of my wish to formula feed while I waited for my milk to come in extremely refreshing and supportive, as I know other places to push breast feeding too forcefully and which often applies unnecessary stress to new mums, and I hope this progressive attitude of 'fed is best' can be encouraged throughout other hospitals
