I attended the day surgery unit

My experience was excellent, the staff were very approachable, open and never considered anything too much haste. The surgeon was interested in me as a person, and engaged in conversation about me, my career and my reason for surgery. He, and the rest of the surgical team, made jokes and regularly checked in with me which put me at ease throughout the procedure. There was a slight delay to my surgery due to complications with an earlier patient, but they were apologetic and ensured I was looked after through the wait.
