West Suffolk Hospital


Staff ok, but lack of empathy

No notification before appointment of a scan to be performed, so no full bladder Scan performed by trainee without informing and then reperformed by trained staff Long wait to be seen Doctor wanted to perform Hystoscopy there and then .... felt pressured to comply, but didn't ... later found out that without proper anaesthetic this procedure is horrendous and hospital gets financial incentive by government for doing it as outpatient and it is being discussed in Parliament .... Left hospital in a state of anxiety and feelings of being a nuisance
