Awful visit, left waiting

Arrived 10 mins after a call from the doctor for my poorly daughter. Had two children with me, spoke to a woman on reception and was advised she’d check us in. Waited an hour and 20 minutes, watched everyone come and go until we were the only ones left. Reception staff paid no attention to the fact we were still waiting. Asked if I had in fact been checked in as I was still waiting to be told- yes, I’ll message the doctor as he’s delayed. Shortly after we were finally called through. The doctor apologised for the mistake and confirmed we had not been checked in. Was in with the doctor a few short minutes and then had to queue at the pharmacy. The new policy that is displayed everywhere in the pharmacy is a joke. If you’ve been waiting more than 15 minutes after speaking to us let us know. This simply means staff make you queue for longer and refuse to make eye contact until they’re ready to process your request. All the seats in the pharmacy are empty but the queue stretches back to the doctors surgery. If the pharmacy SLA is being judged on how many people wait more than 15 minutes this is wholly incorrect as everyone who queued with me waited well over an hour. Whole experience was a sham!
