Right to Respond

Healthwatch is committed to providing a transparent and honest view of health and social care services. This is your opportunity as the health or social care provider to have your say on comments the public have left. It is designed to be constructive and allow both sides to have a fair and equal say in the matter so please:

  • Keep the language and tone civil
  • Don't mention personal details
  • Make it relevant to the review

Remember, your response will be seen by everyone who reads your organisation's comments, not just the original reviewer. Your reply is a good opportunity to acknowledge any comments received.

Refused Covid 19 booster jab

Today my husband was refused his Covid booster jab at Worlingham Pharmacy as he had had his flu jab within the last 7 days. He was told by a volunteer that if he had had both done today this would have been ok. We had a wasted round trip of over 50 miles. Going to the pharmacy website it points to a facebook post which confirms the 7 day interval but who in their right mind would check Facebook before travelling to an appointment when the NHS confirmation email does not mention this. The phone was not answered by the pharmacy and when voicemail eventually kicked in there was no facility to leave a message.
