The deregistered me for mental health

Chucked me out of gp surgery without my mental health meds

But when I have I've had a telephone appointment followed by a face to face appointment if necessary. Last time I contacted the surgery I saw a GP and was happy with everything they suggested.

I get to speak to the same GP most of the time and that is beneficial. The doctor I see gives me time in the appointments which then prevents having to visit time and again to discuss things.

Not very difficult to get appointment, but they don't follow your care, take long time to get back to you and referrals take ages to go through. I have an episode that was considered urgent but took 4 months to get back from hospital. When I attended the hospital the doctor told me that if they had called the hospital I could've been seen the same day. My suggestions are that GPs should have family doctors, that would help them follow up the patients cases instead of being seen by different doctors every time we go to the GP.

Although I was high in the queue when I rang, I got down quickly. Appointment is running on time and got a referral now to wait for an Ultrasound. Not sure how long that will take as given no information on what to expect, so that would have been good, but it is difficult to ask these things.
Access to GP's

Not as good as it used to be as access to GP's seems impossible. Phone system is much better as you used to have to just ring and ring but now there is a 'holding' system and you don't have to wait too long either, even if you are 20 in the queue.
Excellent for regular stuff

The service is excellent for regular stuff, such as my blood tests as they are booked ahead of time and convenient for me to come here. I would not be able to get to the hospital or Landseer road very easily.
Seems strange to see the waiting room so empty when people say they cannot get appointments.

Responsive today

Overall the service has been pretty good and today it was very responsive to my needs. I rang up at about 9am, so not first thing, so was surprised to get a call back 20 minutes later and they asked me to come this morning. All running on time and they dealt with the issues making a referral for me. No timescales given on that though.
On this occasion I could come in at short notice, but on another occasion I would have liked to come in the next day, but was told I would then have to ring up on that specific day. That for me is something I feel could make things better.

No complaints

I have no complaints. They now have 'where you are' in the queue when you ring up. I leave it a little while before I call, can be ten or so in the queue but still get in for an appointment. Blood taken today, always able to come here, which is convenient and it is efficient, usually running on time.
Hit and miss really

You manage to get appointment for a ringback, but don't know when that is. All 'on the day', means you have to call the day you need something but they may be full so you have to keep trying. Doing that every day at 8am when you work is very hard. Never heard of E-Consult, but will take a look.
