Very thorough

I saw a good doctor at Drovers House in Bury they were very thorough and went over all possibilities, I was really pleased to get the appointment and how it went.

Issues were sorted out really well and I was able to get the appointment booked for about a week ahead which worked very well and was organised by my surgery. Very pleased.

I couldn't get an appointment at my 'home' surgery during office hours and they offered me a GP Plus appointment which I had never heard of! I was given an appointment at 7.30 that evening at the Riverside and it worked very well for me! Great

I was booked the appointment by my surgery when they couldn't see me. I found it worked really well and I was seen quickly and the GP was good, great to have the service available

I was referred to GP Plus by the reception staff at Two Rivers. I had a bad cough but my concern was that I had a chest infection. This was a concern to me as I provide transport and quite a lot of support for an elderly lady who has cancer and is receiving palliative care. I didn't want to be giving her anything! I was given an appointment at 8.00pm. I got parked no problem and was seen on time by a nurse. She was able to examine me and reassure me that I didn't have an infection so I was sorted very quickly and could continue to help my friend.

I am registered at a practice but I work and it is pretty well impossible to get an appointment there. I ask for GP Plus when I need to see a GP and it works very well for me. It is a great alternative to weeks of waiting.

I couldn't be seen at my surgery so I was sent to GP Plus at the Riverside. The nurse that I saw was excellent and friendly.
Fair but no GP+ at community hospital.

My neighbour on a Saturday about 7 am felt unwell in her heart area.She just wanted to go to Felixstowe Community Hospital. By 8 am we were there. They called 111 who called back an hour later and said to go to out of hours at Ipswich hospital. We were seen there and she was treated.there.
Speaking to a member of HWS staff I understand that GP+ operates in the Community hospital, so why wasn't she seen there?
The hospital team didn't mention it and the 111 service also didn't say anything about it. It would have been less stressful than having to drive to Ipswich hospital.
