Good they're thinking about LGBT patients

Learning about transgender people which is good but more knowledge in the first place would be helpful

when I received a diagnosis of dementia my wife had a phone call and that was it! No information, no chat, nothing. We would be lost without the dementia group which we found by word of mouth. i feel like they should know about these things in order to refer people.
Great difficulty getting appointments

Told to ring at 8 am. Then told to ring at 8.30 and told all appointments are gone and to call at 11 am. Still no appointments. I found out today about GP+. I have never been offered a GP+ appointment.. When you get an appointment if you are 5 minutes late they won't see you. If you are early or on time you still wait an hour. It's a terrible surgery and got worse when it merged with Chesterfield Drive
Delays in appointments

Having COPD the hospital tells me if I need to see the GP, when I should see them. I call the surgery and get asked many questions by the receptionist then they don't give an appointment on the day but in 2 weeks time. This is no good for me I have never been offered a GP+ appointment

Staff are friendly and approachable. concerned that when checking in for appointments that the computer doesn't take info properly

I went with my husband last week to help translate if needed. The GP wanted him to came back a week later and booked an appointment there and then. Which was good as a future appointment can only be made using the internet and I have forgotten the password. When we went back the GP was very good at using words my husband could understand and drew diagrams. Generally I can phone in the morning and get an appointment sometimes they are full and ask me to phone in the afternoon.
All fine.

I've been very impressed by the GP I'm seeing. They actually look at you when you are them
