They have been very good, quick to deliver the equipment we needed and it's nice that you see the same delivery person each time.
poor communication

I recently spoke with the team to arrange a repair of a piece of equipment my son uses and was given a date for them to visit. A couple of days later they turned up unannounced to do the repair which couldn't be done that day as we were about to go out for another hospital appointment. We've also had a special sleep system which was ordered in April but it has only just been delivered in November and no instructions were given. Its hard to know whether the delay is due to Medequip or other NHS departments but it means that we've had to wait a long time.
Long delays for equipment

We've had to wait 6 months for a replacement standing frame which for a young child who needs to be able to use it is a very long time.
Equipment wrongly put together

My child had a standing frame delivered but when the physios visited they needed to take it apart and then put it back together as it had been assembled wrongly. Communication and information is lacking at times too, never know when to expect things.
Exceptional service at a very difficult time

Earlier this year, my husband was diagnosed with invasive incurable lung cancer. My daughter and I brought him home from hospital the day he was diagnosed and the very next day, Medequip staff came to assess what equipment would be useful. The equipment promised was then delivered quickly with full instructions given. The days that followed presented many challenges. All the staff involved could not have been more helpful, caring and professional, literally nothing was too much trouble. Very sadly, my husband died three weeks and four days later but we could not have looked after him at home without Medequip and for that, we will be eternally grateful.
Equipment delivered so quickly

Initially called the simple equipment clinic at Hartismere Hospital and explained what mum needed. They arranged for a commode to be delivered and it arrived in 4 hours. I was so relieved and amazed by how quickly and well it all went. They even arranged for it to be delivered to me rather than mum's who was too unwel to receive the delivery.
The equipment arrived in good condition.

Very good equipment arrived in good condition and they put the new mattress on the bed for me. They arranged a delivery time which also worked well.
Equipment delivered quickly

Delivered all the equipment quickly and it all works well. Only when I spoke to the OT at the hospital did they say that they should've demonstrated/ give full fitting instructions.

They delivered all the equipment and explained everything. Very happy with them and have now arranged for everything to be collected.
