Always supportive, always there

The PACT group are a shining light in a sea of darkness, always ready with a listening ear, and practical support whenever they can. They are the only local support group I recommend to other parents.

We have found pact incredible. The support and knowledge is unwavering, despite their own personal circumstances. Without pact and the love of the group , and the knowledge, our Son would not be in the correct education, we would not be supported and we wouldn't feel like we mattered. They have without doubt, saved my mental health and impacted in a way that I can't put into words. They make a difference, deep down difference.

They were the light when I faced darkness

My experience was positive. I was having non-stop problems with school for both of my children and they were there for me in a crisis. They guided me they helped me support me advocated for me and got us into a good place. I turned that positivity into a career helping others as a result because I was inspired by what they’ve done for me in that time and I don’t think I’ll even be here today if I didn’t have their support.

Meeting with others over a walk & coffee really was so needed as there is an interchange of encouragement & you feel you are not alone. It helps my wellbeing for sure. Everyone is very knowledgeable and good listeners. Come away feeling better than you did.

PACT has been a shining light during dark times with my disabled children. They offer support and advice without judgement, and there is always someone around to signpost and sympathise.

The PACT are extremely supportive and helpful and always there. The PACT community all have lived experience and knowledge and are very willing to share and support. There is no question that is too small, and the resources this offers is immense. I would be seriously struggling without them .

Such a supportive organisation

I joined PACT when I was desperate to be able to support my child and had been turned down for support from mental health services. My child was suffering and my own mental health wasn't great due to me not being able to help them. PACT are the most supportive group I have ever experienced and they helped me by giving me the tools to help my child who was really struggling.
