I have mentioned to my surgery that on the NHS app where they keep my medical records has a couple of entries that are not accurate, one being that I had a stroke but I cannot see any entry to say that and also it says that I have had a hip replacement but I have not, I have had a shoulder replacement. Now this is concerning to me. On other things I do struggle to get appointments to see someone, I alwasy phone 1 minute to 8am and even when it says you are number one in the queue you can wait for ages.
Call back facility on phone is helpful
January 30, 2025
To have the call back option on the phone is helpful to me so that you are not having to wait for ages to get through. Getting an actual appointment could be better, but they do eventually find me one. Because I am a wheel chair user I am vulnerable to pressure sores which they are aware of and is adressed at the surgery as needed. But on the whole thye surgery is ok.
Works ok

It works ok but I did spend half an hour on the phone trying to cancel a morning appointment as I was in hospital. There needs to be an easier way to cancel them so they can be given to other patients who need an appointment.
Terrible wait for phone call
January 8, 2025
No reasonable adjustments made for my disabilities. Shocking. Waited since before Xmas. Call time mentioned was 11 am it's 13.30 now. I'm exhausted and in pain. No wonder people go to A&E.
I need an interpreter as I am deaf
December 2, 2024
I am deaf and I need an interpreter, I don't want to have to use my carer to sign for me I want the surgery to provide interpreter for me but I don't want to have to ask for this, why cant they just provide it for me? The doctor is good though.
Challenging
September 25, 2024
Communication with the surgery is difficult with the phones being so busy and a recent operation had to be cancelled at the last minute, after being on the waiting list for a long time, because another issue had not been properly addressed by the surgery.
Lack of communication
September 25, 2024
Appointments are difficult to get and because I don't have a phone I rely on my daughter to be around to make the call but because you have to call first thing to have any chance it makes it more difficult. Because they don't allow you to go in and arrange appointment at reception you have to phone.
A real issue getting heard
July 2, 2024
I have a condition where I get chronic migraines and I have been told by my neurologist that if anything alters to contact my GP straight away, I have a short window of time and if my shunt is blocked I can seem drunk in the way I speak. I recently had a real issue when I made contact with the surgery as I was trying so hard to make myself understood how important it was that I see the GP but she just kept saying to me that I was making a fuss and that I was concerned about nothing. I was so upset I really didn't know what to do, so I phoned my mum in tears and she phoned the surgery and explained my situation to the practice manager and how serious it was to be seen. The practice manager apologised, the GP phoned me and then the GP came to my house. When I do get to see the GP they are brilliant.
Phones busy

Lack of access - phone call to get appointment only at 8 o'clock and waiting the whole day for a call back. The communication between the surgery and pharmacy in case of shortage of any medication is good.
Where are the GP's?
May 3, 2023
With many issues, I would have hoped to have seen a GP, but this NEVER happens. The GP's are nowhere to be seen, as they just do ringbacks. I ask others who are patients here and they have same experience.
With multiple health conditions I do feel I am a patient that warrants seeing a GP, but it is just not happening.
