Poor telephone response
December 12, 2017
Answering the telephone "Hello" is NOT a professional response.
Poor overall service
August 8, 2017
Unable to provide the very basic of services, which include care plans, answering phone calls and frequent inadequate support during a crises for clients. Lack of structure and continuity holds back this service and the good workers that actually work for them.
Appalling

I work in the NHS and have regularly liaised with this service in recent years.
In a nutshell they do not provide adequate support for patients at any stage of the process. It is such a minefield of problems, I don't know where to start to be honest.
We regularly see patients who are not offered ongoing support in the community via the care coordinator system. This continues in spite of regular letters specifically requesting this. These letters are ignored. The impression the care coordinator is that they are poorly skilled for the task given to them. The system needs a massive overhaul.
I have been in contact with my MP, I understand that Jeremy Hunt has had a letter about it.

I was very well impressed

My Gp told me that my 3 weekly injection (which has kept me stable for many years) was no longer available. I was referred to Bury South IDT who visited me at home. I expressed my concern that my mental health would deteriorate if I could no longer have the medication. A follow up appointment with a consultant psychiatrist was arranged. The consultant had a discussion with the Trust pharmacist who advised my GP of where the medication could be obtained. I was very well impressed with the way the potential problem was handled by the Trust. This was especially the case as I was kept informed of progress by copies of all correspondence and an offer to contact the same mental health practitioner at any time I had a problem.
Is far to much for me to put down - kept in the dark

After have along connection with cmht and idt and admissions I'm in a vulnerable situation and feel not being kept in the picture of what is happening
Lack of support

Do not feel they support my family member adequately. I am aware this is probably due to financial constraints/lack of budget.
poor

They don't take you seriously, treat you like you're making it up. I was initially seen by wellbeing who referred me to AAT but it took 3 - 6 months to be seen. I haven't been offered a link worker & was told that as they had lost another psychiatrist it was unlikely I'd get seen . they discharged me and now I'm back to my doctor for support. My wife tried calling them when I was having a hard time but no one called back
Lack of continuity and infrequent contact
July 5, 2016
Since Oct 2014 I have been under Bury South IDT for depression and anxiety. My care co-ordination has never been successful and almost non existent including lack of continuity, infrequent contact with the care companies (total 4) no "psychiatric assessment" as promised, or therapeutic input. Cancelled appointments with/without being informed and a continuous stressful and exhausting effort on my part to try to acquire help and support and responses to enable my recovery to progress !
No help since Feb this year
June 20, 2016
My care co-ordinator (name recorded) has been off sick since beginning of February 2016. Please can someone get a worker, I've had no one for 5 months. I am used to being seen by my care co-ordinator every two weeks for a one hour session. I have been given no replacement worker. My mental health has been very up and down daily and I am struggling to cope with things. I do not have a support worker and my GP has written to complain. Voiceability advocates also told me to complain which I did and nothing has been set up. I feel very let down and disappointed by the lack of service. I feel very angry.
