Appalling appointments service

April 5, 2016
It is impossible to book an appointment. The set hours to phone are impossible if you work full time, I have to take time off work to make an appointment and you can hang on for 40 minutes and then when you get through there are no appointments left.
There is no sit and wait on a Saturday, so when very ill I was told to go to A and E by the receptionist, when I said I was not well enough to drive the 20 miles to the nearest A and E I was told to phone an ambulance. I then tried the emergency out of hours number, I was told by the doctor I needed to be seen that day and was told a Doctor would be with me within the next 12 hours, no one came.
This practice seems to want to make life as difficult as it can for its patients, and with the approval of another few thousand houses in Haverhill it can only get worse.
I did email the practice when they brought out the new system for booking appointments and did not get a reply!
The streetlife forum has a thread on this practice which is the longest thread on there and no one has a good word to say about them. I would add that when you do get to see a Doctor on the whole they are very good.

Booking system disfunctional. Not working.

May 26, 2015
The online booking no longer works. When phoning for an appointment you select "automatic booking system" but then after a long hold you get through to a receptionist! To try and get an appointment time after time they say "I've got nothing on my screen!" . "Phone back at another time". The whole system has gone drastically wrong and needs fixing urgently.

Trying to get my test results is like trying to get blood out of a stone.
