Put at ease, shown care & well informed
February 3, 2016
The nurse practitioner I saw for a memory assessment clearly explained what the process would entail and made sure I felt comfortable in the room before beginning. The information she collected from myself and my husband regarding my medical history/my family medical history was done in such a way that instilled me with confidence of her experience, knowledge and understanding of this area of work. After the assessment, she explained what was likely to happen next, who was likely to be involved and gave me an idea of the timescale. On my way out she gave me a contact number in case any I had any more questions. I came away from that appointment feeling very positive about what was going to happen. That afternoon I received a phone call, explaining that she had spoken to the consultant and was able to inform me, for sure, what the next step of procedure would be! First class service!
