Thoroughly examination on attending, tests arranged for next day felt well satisfied with whole team at the surgery. Thank you all so much.

Regular checks may have helped

October 11, 2021
Mum has COPD and normally has regular chest xrays but these haven't happened for nearly 3 years. She has had ongoing issues and hasn't been able to see a doctor, they treated her for a chest infection with antibiotics but if they'd seen her they may have realised it was something else, as she has just been diagnosed with lung cancer. They just treated her for a chest infection with out seeing her. Reception staff aren't great either, they can be abrupt when you talk to them and are not overly helpful.

Diabetic foot problem which was misdiagnosed

December 9, 2020
Being diabetic type 2 and having a hospital stay 2yrs a ago for serious foot infection on discharge from my stay it was drummed into me then and follow up visits I had at foot clinic I am high risk any sign of any infection seek immediate help
So Thursday went I got out of my shower I noticed one of my toenails was loose and the toe looked red.
So phoned chantry clinic bet they had not any appointments but said the person who normally deal with my feet is working from home and will phone me which he did and ask for some photos which I sent to him he phoned me back and told me to speak to my GP cause he said it looks like an infection and as I am high risk I needed an antibiotic. Which what done GP asked for photos so I sent the same 3 photos she came back and disagreed with what he said and told me to soak it in salt water.
Which I wasn’t happy about .
So phone my foot man back and he arranged a home visit on Friday when the nurse turned up she took a look at the toe and took the nail off then said I am going to contact your GP cause you need a course of antibiotics you have an infection.
I don’t like complaining cause the surgery who I have been with nearly all my life have always been there for me.
But it could have turned out to be more serious especially with me being diabetic

Waiting room needs magazines

Everything here is pretty good apart from being seen on time. I spend a lot of time in the waiting room waiting to be seen and it needs some magazines.

Had a bad experience

August 23, 2018
I have no faith in the surgery after a bad experience, so I try to avoid going unless I have to. There are often no appointments available so you are offered a call back.

Staff are polite and helpful and try to get you an appointment as soon as possible. Good information and explanation from my GP.

Nice, friendly staff

Walked in and immediately seen by GP for my appointment. Nice staff, friendly. I see different GPs but they are all good and I don't mind.

I am a patient of 40 years plus. The practice treats you with dignity and listens.

Same day appointments

March 13, 2018
I can normally get an appointment with GP or Nurse Practitioner on the same day or at worse the next day.
I have NEVER had to wait longer than 48hrs.

Inadequate service

February 2, 2018
Every time that we phone to make an appointment with the doctors on the phone or on the day we get given the practice nurse, or have to wait a number of weeks longer. Also when phoning at 08.00am there seems to be a large number of people in front of us and the waiting time runs nearly over the hour.
