Very dissappointing

December 23, 2022
We had been undergoing IVF but then had to move which meant we had to restart the whole process again when we were new to the area. Considering how close we were to starting it was very disappointing.

Unaccountable. Ignore difficult questions

September 25, 2019
A complaint about the poor monitoring of pharmacies simply resulted in the buck being passed to NHS England. Request for Chief Executive to be made aware of my concerns ignored. Said it did not deal with complaints. Contact us page offered no useful information. Trying to use PALS to avoid any responsibility for its decisions. Website does not make clear that three CCGs have effectively merged. Very confusing for patients, use taxpayers. Organisations run like this waste millions and threaten the future of the NHS.

No wholesome support and timing problems

October 31, 2017
When discussing complex care needs professionals routinely say there is no social worker support available for the family just the child concerned. Continual delays in assessment and ultimately no care package has been put together. (West Suffolk Hospital)

Changed prescription

August 4, 2017
My wife is a coeliac and has had her prescription stopped since the change in funding and this is unfair and has had big cost implications for us.

Criteria for podiatry services changed

August 4, 2017
The change to the criteria meant that I had to pay privately for podiatry treatment and now means that my feet are checked or treated less regularly.

Now have to pay to have feet looked after

August 4, 2017
The change in the podiatry service occurred with out notice and meant that I could no longer get my feet done by the NHS. Finding someone good has not been easy.

Reduced service

August 4, 2017
About 4 years ago I was receiving NHS podiatry services and then all of a sudden this stopped which made it difficult for me. I could no longer do my own feet so had to find the money to pay someone and its not cheap.

Mobile eye clinic works well

May 25, 2017
The mobile eye clinic for glaucoma screening works well at Combs Ford and means I don't have to travel in to Ipswich.

Fair. Preventative care lacking

Commissioning dept.
Preventative care is lacking. The screening programmes are good but not everything is covered and not aware of what is available. Important to have base line so when things do go wrong you can compare

Poor, service cuts

April 24, 2017
Previously my GP removed simple cysts from my head but this is now not allowed and I'm told it's a funding issue
