It is hard to get a GP home visit

My husband has MS and I do ask why is it so hard to get a GP to visit him at home when he is so poorly at times. You might think this an odd thing to say but why do all of the electrical lights need to be turned on the whole time?, I feel its such a waste.
I feel they give you time and listen well

I like my surgery, I can get an appointment to be seen face to face if needed, they give me time and listen well. The staff are good. No issues. The only issue is the car park is too small and after 60mins you have to pay to park £1.
Consultation regard cold and chest infection

A great surgery

Its a wonderful surgery and the staff are very supportive. There have been no problems getting appointment.
Difficult to get an appointment

I tried to get a face to face appointment for my elderly mother but was told I would have to wait two weeks. We went in recently to have a blood test and blood pressure test and the nurse said that my mother wasnt due to have her blood pressure checked yet so she wouldnt do it, it took the nurse longer to check on the computer to prove that she wasnt due for her blood pressure to be checked than what it would have taken to have actually done it, I just found the attitude was not helpful to us. It is disappointing.
Carpark limit issues

If the surgery is running behind you have to end up paying for parking as it has a 30 minute limit. This can be an issue, as you assume you will be seen within 5-10 mins of your appointment time. If you are not you are then in a dilemma about running out to put parking on the car and hope you are then not called in. Everyone is lovely and I always get an appointment if I need one face to face.

The staff are lovely people. The only thing I would change, is to have something playing in the background in the waiting area, as it does feel super quiet.
Excellent all the time

I have been here many years and I have found the service to be excellent the whole time. I get seen by the right person in a reasonable amount of time. Usually run on time too, which helps with parking
Routine easy to get

All routine blood test appointments are easy to get. They are really good as the last time I came, they could not get enough, so they rebooked and gave advice on how to help. This informed the hospital by 6 pm the next day when they then contact me to adjust my medication if need be. It is very convenient to come in here to get it done as it is currently needed quite regularly.
Good at sending reminder texts

This is a great surgery, the staff are good and polite and patient on the telephone. They are good at sending text reminders and I appreciate that. No complaints just positive comments.
