Care co left in April and we are now in July with no support and yet diagnosed mental health. Have been left hanging and this has exaccerbated my condition. Have rang constantly but no one gets back. Have been in crisis who have emailed constantly but still no one gets back. If this was a secondary care physical condition it would be addressed. Thank you so much IDT Bury North for making me feel invisible and uncared for.
No regular / reliable appointments

My care coordinator never books any chats or appointments to discuss how things are going, if I text or call in an emergency more often than not nobody gets back to me, they regularly take days to reply to emails or texts, I am treated like a nuisance, and requested paperwork is hardly ever actually sent.
No point in the service existing

My husband has been in and out of MH system for 20+ years, and this time round has opened my eyes to the disgraceful way this organisation is run! I have never experienced such a lack of empathy within professionals, when my husband needed them the most they basically turned their back on him, calling him an attention seeker - these people have caused my husband further anxiety and pain, we are now having to fund private counselling ourselves due to their utter incompetence - if you can avoid this service please do so for the sake of your own sanity!
Disappointing

I've been transitioning to the adult team and it hasn't been great. Individual staff members are great but the pathways haven't been managed well and rather than a smooth transition from one team to the other it was deemed appropriate to discharge me from the service so I would have to be assessed again to be able to access adult services. The team hasn't been supportive enough and I didn't have any face to face meetings over the summer. Found the whole experience frustrating and disappointing. Access to psychiatrists has reduced and I was told I would be reviewed in 3 months but this never happened even though I chased the appointments. The staff are not the problem but the system is .
Bad

Social workers offered to aid me in care of my partner. Psychiatrist offered to my partner, these didn't happen. They didn't pay any attention, they were told about referrals to clinic that didn't help and and idt had referred us back to drs and pain clinic. Didn't phone when they said they would. Kept us waiting weeks with no response to our phonecalls asking when we might here from them. One visit in a month of there service and they discharged us. As bad if not worse than wellbeing.

The Team who look after myself, and their have been many, for which I am humbled. They will go the extra step to make the situation better for you
You have to allow and trust the teams to enable yourself in time to go on and have a good and healthy life ahead.
If it doesn't go to plan go and see the excellent teams and it is not a failure just a temporary blip

They work by doing what they think and not what is right for you and ignore things you say. Pointless.

I have found it has been well coordinated with weekly calls from care coordinator and support worker the following week.I believe that without the support i would not be able to see a light at the end of the tunnel
