Excellent. Much needed support from a wonderful member of staff

May 6, 2017
When we were at rock bottom didn't know what was happening to our beautiful daughter scared and frightened a caring friendly caring nurse specialist took us under her wing. She cared not only for our daughter but us all as a family. She took time to listen offer her advice and put in place other services that we needed. She gave us hope when we couldn't see an end to this horrible illness and offered compassion when we felt useless. We had help and guidance through our long journey and education about a topic we had no knowledge about. We have her to thank most sincerely for helping us to help our daughter get her life back and kick anorexia out. Our daughter is a beautiful, happy, young lady, who is living life to the full. We thank the mental health team most sincerely for showing us the way forward.

Care coordinator has been good, but a lack of Doctors

February 18, 2017
Care coordinator has been very good but has become stuck up against the brick wall as they can't prescribe and there simply isn't enough Dr's so patients can be seen/advice given in an adequate time.

With my mood slipping my physiciatrist on holiday my care coordinator do had to go round the teams to seek some advice. Thankfully they were able to do all this work and visit me on the same day so We could pick up the prescription but feel they needs more dr support so I could be seen when I first complained of mood slipping not when it got serious and we got desperate!

Thanks you for your feedback and taking the time to post your comment.
Nationally there is difficulty recruiting to medical vacancies. But we are pleased to report that we have now successfully recruited more medical staff into the our community services. We have also appointed a Non-Medical Prescriber to support our care coordinators

Drs very good - admin and communication poor

August 22, 2016
Went to see the Dr today with my appointment letter, found out Dr was not in because they are on holiday. Then had to ring bury north for another appointment (as I see them at g block) went home only to receive a call to say my appointment letter was wrong and should of said a different doctor - went back to g block to see that doctor. Drs are good when you get to see them but not first time I've had problems with admin for appointments.
