3 week wait

When I booked online there was a three week wait for a test but when I got there the waiting room was empty and no one was there.

Efficient service

This is a very efficient service. Appointments are easy for me to make online, the parking is good here and its easy to familiarise yourself with the centre itself.

Staff attitude is what makes it positive

I would prefer the clinic to be in town rather than out of town. The staff attitude is very good and it is that aspect that makes the service a positive experience for me.

I prefer the walk in option

My GP made the appointment for me for this visit today, I prefer the walk in option like it used to be. Phlebotomy clinic is a smooth service once you are here and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful. I would like it to be closer to town as I can't always get to this location easily.

Appointments only has proved to be difficult

The staff make the service excellent. Since it has been appointments only it has proved difficult as I am taking warfarin medication and was on antibiotics and needed an urgent appointment, I phoned and emailed Swift Call who do the appointments and they told me the only way I could get an appointment sooner was via my GP, so I had to phone my GP surgery and asked someone to phone me back, I was feeling so unwell at the time my GP did eventually sort an urgent appointment for me but it was such a rigmarole for me.

I am concerned

Our experience to date is that it is a swift and smooth service and the staff attitude is excellent, I am concerned however that now they have stopped the walk in clinic that my husband needs to come in a specific window of time because of his health issues and I am worried that they will not be able to to adjust easily to coordinate with his medical needs, I hope that I am concerning myself unnecessarily.

You get through quickly

My experience here has always been very good, I get through quickly, helpful and polite staff. I use phone to book appointment no issues.

I preferred the walk in clinic

Making an appointment can be difficult, I preferred the walk in clinic when it was going. I had to wait 9 days for this appointment I wanted it sooner the midwife can only have one attempt at taking blood then I have to be referred to phlebotomy, surely there should be a way that the midwife can book me in directly when that happens? 9 days is too long to have to wait in a situation like that. Some of the Phlebotomist's have a good bedside manner and some do not especially when its difficult to get blood. I think they should have 3 phlebotomists at Sudbury to support the amount of patients.

The girls are so helpful

The girls are so helpful in the clinic, They sometimes call me in sooner if they are ahead of appointments time.I have never had a bad experience. I'm OK with the new appointments system.
