Has improved with new system

This service has definitely improved with the Robot medication dispensary system. It has been in place now I think about 12 months.
Years of inadequate staffing & poor attitude

Dispensing machine failed again and takes days to mend (who let the contract for that kit?). “Not bothered” attitude to resolving supply problems.
Lack supplies

Have tried four times to get a flu vaccine but each time I've attended the pharmacy they've had no vaccine available and although I have an underlying condition I've now given up trying. It's not the individual pharmacy issue they can't help it if supplies aren't delivered.
One hour waits

Regularly have to wait an hour but over the last 2 months it has improved in some ways especially with the availability of medication. It does look very stressed there.
Long waits

There are long delays at the pharmacy even when you're at the front of the queue it seems you still have to wait 5-10 minutes to get you actual medication. There needs to be some work to improve access.
Waiting times

The only issue is the length of time you have to wait for prescriptions when at the pharmacy, it can be an hour.
Long queues

There are long queues at times and it is difficult to wait or stand for some people. I've heard people say there are problems with the collection box system when the wrong persons medication was put in the wrong box with theirs so I'm reluctant to use the system.
Stopped using the text system

Its such a shame they've stopped using the text system as it means you either have to pop down or call to find out if your medication is ready and that must create them more work or more waiting for patients.
Meds not ready

When I turn up to collect my medication they are often not ready. The staff then get them ready while I wait but at times it can be quite lengthy and it can be difficult to stand that long. There are more chairs now than there used to be.
Very busy

I feel that they do all they can but they have had staffing issues which has obviously made things more difficult. It's a shame that the text message to say medication is ready to collect isn't used anymore. The staff are lovely and it must be hard for them to have people moaning .
