Woke up from sleep with nurse pulling on PICC

Woke up from sleep to find two nurses pulling on my pic line could not believe what was going on one nurse with my arm between her breasts one arm on my hand the other on my elbow the other nurse pulling without any gloves on a pic line.
After putting away they walked away and a nurse who was putting on the PICC line said and I quote well he's the one who's going to get the infection not me charming people like me

Great to have a local xray service available. I arranged an appointment after speaking to my GP and have arranged an appointment in 7 days. The only thing is I've not been told what to do while I'm waiting for the appointment.

Community cardiac rehabilitation

I was referred to the cardiac rehabillitation team based at the Newmarket hospital on to their 12 week programme. I found it to be beneficial, once again staff very good. I have now been moved on to the community based exercise programme

Yes, 2 strikes against me, I was late by 10 mins, I also forgot to get my form. You’re late I was told, sorry. Sorry I forgot my form, points to the notice, no form can’t do anything about it. Are they still using slate and chalk I wonder? Didn’t want an explanation and weren’t going to help. I’m 75 and have just driven for 40 mins only to be turned away. A disgrace, unhelpful, We can’t all do things perfectly nor can they it seems. I should have just not turned up, same result. I was told by my surgery that I should continue on my journey and hosp would be able to print it off. NO THEY WON’T!
I had the most painful blood test ever

This left me with an enormous bruise and swelling. I could not lift my arm to eat or clean my teeth as it was so painful for the rest of the day. Why can some nurses give blood tests which do not hurt or leave any bad after effects. A second person had to take over but this did not relieve the pain as it was too late.

I've had xrays at the hospital and they have been so quick to get and had a 4 minute turnaround and great to have it local too.

My foot issue started about two years ago and I was seeing a private chiropodist for nail trimming and I was referred to the podiatry service. Initially I saw who I felt was a very inexperienced lady but later saw a podiatrist who was experienced and very good. I came for a procedure but it had to be postponed on medical grounds as I was due to have another medical procedure the following week on my leg and with me being on warfarin medication too. I have come back six weeks later. The only thing that hurt was the initial injection. I found the podiatrist was very professional, it was a good experience.
