Terrible customer service

Treatment ok, not the best. It’s the customer service which is terrible.
Got a random call 3 months after treatment to say that I had an outstanding balance. I emailed to say I can’t take phone calls and asked them explain what this was about. As I have always paid my bill after treatment.
When questioned, I was informed that it was their mistake but still owed. Fine. Not ideal but to be phoned again the next day (after saying I can’t take calls) I get an email threatening debt collection agencies.
Avoid.

Rude and unhelpful staff from reception to the owners. My wife missed an appointment for years ago due to a miscarriage. When the current owner took over they took her off the books for missing said appointment. The were very rude to her and extremely unhelpful. They have tried to charge me for an appointment I didn’t have and threatens to remove me unless I pay them. Avoid at all costs. This is not a one off. Many other patients have had a similar experience.
Some redemption

Following my previous review about them charging my father in law for a cancellation due to COVID they have redeemed themselves slightly by waiving payment when my mother in law had to cancel due to snow and ice a number of weeks ago. This did however require a phone call from my wife.
Inflexible when 86 year old had to cancel.

My 86 year old father in law had an appointment. Due to his poor mobility it requires my wife to take him. The weekend before appointment I developped Covid symptoms meaning my wife could not transport him. It is too difficult for him to get a taxi. His wife phoned a day before to cancel and they demanded £54 payment. They pressured her to get a friend or relative to phone them and pay as she felt unable to do this. My wife phoned and because my mother in law had got in a muddle on the phone and did not mention the covid situation they insisted on payment saying they would make any further appointments until paid. Their response by email was also rude. My wife has paid as she did not want to cause more anxiety for her parents. However very unhappy with the way they treated a long standing,elderly patient. There seemed to be no compassion whatsoever.

Staff constantly leave. Appts cancelled often

No continuity of care. Staff constantly changing since change in management. Appointments more often than not get cancelled & it’s difficult to rebook. No patient care. It’s a shame a good practice has become very poor.
Difficult extraction & poor care

Attended with broken tooth, dentist tried 1 hour-long extraction and gave up. Developed infection while awaiting specialist removal and also aggravated a different tooth through not being able to eat on extraction site. Attended twice more in agony and eventually had to seek treatment elsewhere as after 4 months nothing had been done for aggravated tooth - ended up requiring root canal and crown. Glad I have found a great dentist elsewhere now.

I was obviously nervous but the procedure was explained at every point and they were very nice and kind.
