Riverside Clinic Ipswich (North East Essex and Suffolk Pathology Services)

Its a minimum of a two week wait for appointments now and although its a good service I am automatically sent here by my surgery and getting here is not easy at all.

I came in for an IUD removal and replacement following a referral from my GP. The two staff that saw me were so brilliant and caring. Unfortunately I needed referring onward, however they were so kind and supportive in doing so.

Referred by my local surgery for an out of hours appointment. The overall service was excellent, prompt, kind and professional. I cannot praise both the receptionist and Dr enough. Thank you.

Good service

I visited the Ipswich riverside clinic with my very young child. During the appointment, I informed the doctor that I had registered my daughter for the GP very recently and still didn't have confirmation of registration. I asked if I could get the prescription in my own hands, the doctor said that they send the prescription straight to the pharmacy. One hour later I was at the pharmacy to collect the prescription. Pharma did not find a prescription in the NHS system, so I called the clinic.
I was told my daughter is not yet registered with the GP and I need to return to the clinic for a prescription.
it was very close to pharmacy closing time. When I asked why nobody informed me about this before, I did not get an answer.
when I returned to the clinic I was not allowed in, the lady gave me a prescription at the door. I asked the doctor's name, but the lady refused to give it to me, saying that the details were on the prescription.

Listened and helped me explain the problem. Not why but what I’m experiencing. Drs are fabulous! And very happy with the receptionists. Very efficient and helpful

I visited the Riverside Clinic today, I am absolutely disgusted in the attitude and professionalism of your staff member at reception. She spoke to me so rudely and abruptly infront of the other people waiting in the waiting room I was embarrassed.
She had no empathy towards me even with me being in a lot if pain and asking for her help. I am shocked you have people working and getting paid a wage to be so vile towards members of the public. This person needs to be retrained to speak to people kindly and professionally. Disgraceful.

apt booked 2 weeks ago via riverside tel number, rang to advise couldnt get there only to be told the service had moved to landseer rd, rang the new number (call centre nice lady) only to be told no appointments on their system for me??? why was I not told about address change and what happened to my booked appointment!!!

Greeted by a blunt and rude receptionist who couldn’t even manage a smile. There was a small wait even though I had booked a timed slot but this wasn’t a problem only a minor set back. I felt disappointed upon discussing this with the phlebotomist as she knew exactly who I meant without me finishing my sentence and confirmed this person was always like this ! Whilst having my blood taken I felt a little unnerved that the phlebotomists attention wasn’t completely on what she was doing as she was talking to another colleague .

GP less friendly but I guess they have tough days sometimes.
Really appreciate the evenings and weekend appointments. Priceless for full time workers like myself
