Waiting room packed , staff seem unhappy

August 19, 2018
I don't like crowded small spaces , being a regular to pathology I notice some staff don't talk or even smile.

Convenient

If you accept that there can be a wait at times (up to 1 hour when I visited), this service is a convenient alternative when appointments are not available at your own practice - Provided you have the means to reach it. The staff were friendly, professional and prompt. The waiting area is limited for space during busy periods and people seemed slightly unclear on where they should wait to be called. Parking is also limited but the nature of the service usually means that spaces become available on a regular basis.

Very professional

I have to have regular blood tests and one one occasion I didn’t feel well at all. The nurse I had was extremely kind. All very nice and I feel very lucky to have such a great clinic near to me. Highly recommend

Quick & easy

Popped in on the way to work for a blood test. Small queue but was in and out within half an hour. All staff are very professional and friendly. Would recommend. Great service.

Technicians excellent

Waiting area too small. No high chairs for the disabled. Wheelchair access too small. Not enough seats. Too many patients friends/family take up seats. No confidentiality re patients details names/dob/addresses all read out loudly - NO security appalling. Comments made re patients tests. patients told they can go to Ips hospital to get tests done! Loudly informed that can and need to get urine tests done there & then. Attended an appointment, receptionist appalling no customer service obviously hasn't a clue what Respect & Dignity policy is. OK to laugh at patients WE ARE CUSTOMERS. GDPR what are you doing re that after todays experience?????

Loses samples and no disabled access

October 13, 2017
Bloods have been taken but then lost in the system so needed to be taken again after a week's delay. The waiting area is seriously small for the capacity it needs to cater for and can be a long waiting process without disabled facilities such as wide corridors for wheelchairs or scooters etc

A good service

June 7, 2017
A good service normally but at our last appointment we had to wait 1/2 hour which wasn't too bad, the problem is there are very few chairs and some people had only just come home from hospital and couldn't sit down.

Waiting room unpleasant

Long ques, waiting room so small, overcrowded, not a nice experience with a young child. Nurses very good at taking blood though and friendly. Just a shame a larger, nicer waiting room can't be provided.
