Good midwives

I had good midwives and great continuity which was great, the students were very good too and I felt very supported. It was such a great birth and that was all down to the staff. I did privately do hypnobirth as don't think it was available or offered by the hospital.
Not see consultant since covid

I have a specialist MS nurse and I get calls from them and my consultant but I haven't actually seen them since covid.
Very happy with My Chart

Using My Chart works really well, it makes things so much easier as you can see so much information. The waiting list for my operation is still a year for me but I did recently receive an email asking if I wanted to stay on the list which was actually very reassuring as it was confirmation that I hadn't been forgotten about. It really affects my anxiety levels when I don't know whats happening especially when I was referred 2 years ago.
Been sent notes twice

We've had real issues getting notes to the hospital. On two occassions our surgery has sent details across and they still don't appear to have what they need. More than a little frustrating.

Addenbrook's sent a referral to Ipswich Hospital for me to Rheumatology aspect and this was ok. They also did a referral to Audiology for a hearing test, but that never came through and when I got a call from Ipswich about appointment I was expecting them to say it was for Audiology too. When I came in to Rheumatology I popped through to the Audiology dept, but there was no sign of my referral. 6 months had passed so I went back to Addenbrooke's and they admitted that they only sent a referral to Rheumatology. I had to get it sorted to get a hearing test. When the referral was done I got into the department a week later, which is excellent.
Very supportive

I've had lots of care from the hospital and they have always been very supportive and the advice and explanations have been great. The care has always been good, including a stay on the ward.

Staff made things really easy and explained everything so well. The care on the ward was great. Follow up appointments have all been on time and with in the timescales suggested so I've been really happy with it all.
Maternity support wonderful

The maternity support was wonderful and the staff were kind and helpful. They were very busy but had time to support me and I came away really confident. The computer systems between community services and the hospital do not talk to each other so that made things a little more difficult.
Urgent dental referral a long wait

I was referred to the hospital for an urgent dental appointment and have been told there is a 51 week wait for treatment, so I'm just waiting now.

My initial appointment with the doctor was very helpful and thorough. They promised to let us know if anything could be done. Since then until now (April - August) we have heard nothing. Tried phoning and Email, but to no avail.
