We were assured that neurology would come back to us following an appointment in April but we've tried calling a number of times and haven't been able to speak to anyone yet and we've still not revceived a letter 4 months later.
Very poor maternity experience

Once I'd had my baby and the staff realised that I was formula feeding they weren't interested in me at all. I wasn't supported or shown where to go or what to do even though I'd had a c section and had no support from my husband because covid rules were in place. In the end I decided to discharge myself and I have decided to have my next baby at a different trust.
Very good eye care

I have different issues in each eye and both have been operated on recently. All the treatment they've provided has been great and in each case I was just in for the day. The consultant I saw was lovely and explained everything they were going to do very well.
No coordination of appointments

They call for most appointments but often they are cancelled and rearranged. When you do have to go to the hospital there is no coordination of multiple appointments so you could have to visit multiple times the same week. The site seems to be getting bigger and bigger.
Waiting since September 2021

I've been waiting since September 2021 to have my gall bladder removed. I've been told it will be months before it is done even though I was initially told I was on an emergency list. They've tried everything but it needs removing and the delays are having a negative impact on my quality of life.

I had my liver removed due to cancer and the care from staff during my stay was great. The whole procedure went really well and I really can't fault the team, they kept me well informed while I was with them too.
Consultant appointments by phone

My consultant appointments have been by phone and I don't feel these have really been worthwhile as they don't actually get to see me. I needed a cardio monitor and was told to pick it up at 3pm but it had to be back first thing in the morning so I hadn't had it for anywhere near the 24hrs I was meant to have it, all seemed poorly organised. Being a fair distance also made it all more difficult.

I only attend outpatient appointments and the staff are very friendly and have a very personal approach in ENT, they know you personally.

I am well supported by the department I am under, they do a very good job and throughout covid I've continued to have contact with the team when needed.

I was admitted to hospital for 8 days with covid and the care I received was really good. They kept me well informed at all times and I joined a trial and still received calls from the team following my discharge. Although staff were very busy the care was good.
