Not a fan of needles but was quickly put at ease with welcoming staff who talked me through the procedure and asked the relevant questions, gave me the jab which was like a tiny scratch and it was done. All staff there were really friendly and chatty, felt totally at ease.
Very well run

I went to Ipswich Hospital for my vaccination as part of the staff roll out as a health and social care worker. The only criticism I have is the car park pay machines being out of order within the near vicinity (I noticed 3 were out of order)
The actual process of getting the vaccination was excellent, well organized, clean, short wait time, good quality of care (even if the person who administered the vaccine was a little serious and not particularly friendly).
I must say though, everyone else I encountered was lovely.

Very well organised at The Hollies, St Clements - Ipswich. Greeted by friendly staff, explained the procedure which was painless and aftercare as well.
On time. Safe. Friendly. Excellent

Arrived. Free parking. Signs and someone to direct me. Well spaced and well organised. Large room to wait for 15 mins after vaccination. Two things to improve.
1. We had to provide our NHS number. Why were we handed a yellow sticky with our NHS number on to hand to the next person. We could have just told the second person the number to reduce contact and keep the 2m distance.
2. The factsheet is available online so I didn't need to be handed that either

Signage at West Suffolk House was useful, queuing system was well organised and there was someone at every station to show you the way and explain what you needed to do. The Nurse was professional but friendly and I was shown to the waiting room afterwards and explained where the exit was. There was always someone in the vicinity of the waiting room if help was needed. A very pleasant experience, as vaccinations go. Thank you to the whole team.
Efficient, caring staff, most impressive

Very little waiting time, good parking at Epicentre. Marshall outside meet and greet. Social distancing in operation. Clear instructions and helpful and sensitive staff. Good leaflets and spoken information. Time to ask questions, encouraged to. Very good infection control measures. Efficient but no short cuts.
Could not fault service. Quick,professional

Very surprised though that there seems to be a duplication of effort between the Suffolk GP Federation and the main NHS vacination programme. You both appear to be working from the same contact lists!
I received my NHS invite last Wednesday and managed to get vaccinated very quickly last Saturday at Gainsborough Sports centre that being the nearest place under offer on ther web page. Very impressed with the speed and effeciency of that centre . More than happy to have my 2nd jab there.
But also last Saturday I received a letter from the GP Federation inviting me to book for a 1st jab at, I assume. one of their centres. Would have probably been more convenient to book in there as I live just outside Woodbridge . But I had no idea if. when or where that might be a possibility.
I mentioned this duplication to the Doctor who gave me my jab and with raised eyebrows he just smiled and said "you are not the first person who has mentioned this confusion". Is this just a teathing problem that will be rectified as you advance through the roll out programme ?
