So glad to have been able to receive

February 2, 2021
The appointment was relatively easy to book at West Suffolk Hospital and within a couple of days of finding out about it. The way I found out was through a surgery facebook site, so although came under the essential front line worker category, was not advertised. However, the experience on the day was very well organised and a credit to the NHS. Staff on the day were excellent.

Called to an appointment - all like clockwork

February 2, 2021
Took a phone call from the surgery with choice of locations and times. We were called sooner than we had expected for age / vulnerability - so a welcome bonus. From arrival to departure it was about 45 minutes. Very slick and cheerfully organised at Hadleigh. Thanks so much.

Very Well Organised & Felt Safe

Well organised from start to finish at Ipswich Hospital. Was sent a link, booked slot and when i arrived i was greeted by friendly staff/volunteers. I felt safe and my vaccinator was reassuring and took on board my fear of needles. I cannot complaint. Well done to all.

Well organised but some volunteers underused

February 2, 2021
Went to Gainsborough. Upon entry 2 volunteers stood in doorway whose only purpose was to tell me to put on a blue mask from the desk. The person behind the desk also told me to put on a blue mask and that was it. My name wasn’t taken so I could have been anyone walking in for a vaccine. It doesn’t take 3 people in one area to tell people to put a mask on. These volunteers could be better used. Inside, a person asked if I was staff or volunteer? It was unclear what sort of staff give that I had been sent by my boss for my vaccine. Had to be clarified what was meant. Halls was very echoey and as some one who is deaf in one ear it was hard to hear thing being said at times, especially with staff wearing masks and visors as well. Other than this it was an efficient process.

Well organised, professional, hassle-free

I had my jab at Cornard Surgery. I had been shielding due to immuno-supression. The staff double checked I was Ok to receive the jab, given my underlying (uncommon) condition. I felt I was in very capable hands.

Efficient team

I visited Bury Hospital for my Covid Vaccination. The process was seamless. Booking was easy, the actual vaccination experience was well executed. The building for vaccinations was clearly signposted, parking was close, the staff friendly and confident. Infection control and hygiene practice was spot on.
