Really good

Can always get help when needed and issues are dealt with well. The staff are polite and helpful and this goes for the dispensary staff too who have been lovely. I really have no issues with the surgery at all.

It's a good surgery but getting bloods done is really difficult. When I've had my hospital appointment I immediately rebook my next test to ensure I have it in time for the next appointment. If I need an urgent appointment I have seen them and I'm very happy with the surgery.
Annual checks done well

Luckily I do not have to come very often but I do have my annual checks, including for my diabetes. I have seen different nurses but all have explained things well and my feet are checked so I'm very happy with the care provided. My medication is always available on time and I really can't fault the surgery.

I called first thing, had a short wait on the phone but then spoke to a care navigator and was given an appointment later in the morning. I feel that the member of staff asked all the right questions and was able to get me seen quickly. The only slight issue is that I don't get to see the same doctors and they can have differing ideas on issues and also means I have to go over the same issues already discussed.

Most appointments are in two to three weeks time but I have been able to get on the day appointments when they've been needed too. Getting through to the surgery hasn't been a problem and I've found econsult works quite well as an alternative too. The staff are very nice when you do see them.

There are two week waits for an in person appointment, even for more urgent issues. You can't predict when you're going to be unwell so that can be difficult when you need to be seen more quickly. I have had telephone consultations which are quicker and easier to get. The staff when you do see them are perfect and the doctors are lovely, they are just very busy.
Very good surgery

It's a very good surgery but I've had to wait 5 weeks to see my preferred doctor, but they are very good and therefore the waits are understandable for non-urgent issues. The cost of getting a taxi to have blood tests at West Suffolk hospital or Newmarket are high and it would be better if more blood tests could be done at the surgery.

I'm new to the area and have found the staff at the surgery very helpful with any queries or questions I've had. It's a shame that blood tests have to be done so far away from the surgery, apart from the time it takes for regular appointments there is also the cost of travelling to West Suffolk hospital or Mildenhall. I've just seen an amazing doctor, they explained everything very well, really impressed.

I've struggled to get a more urgent appointment and do believe that continuity is really key and this is missing at times. I've had to wait 4 weeks to speak to a doctor about some results, which is a long time when you are worried. For regular blood tests you're asked to go to Newmarket or West Suffolk hospital which is a long way and would be better if it was at the surgery.

I called first thing this morning and I've been seen by a doctor. They've told me to self-refer to physio for treatment. I don't use the surgery much but when I do it's always good and I like the staff as they are friendly and approachable.
