You can get appointments if you need it

You might not always be able to see the same doctor but I acn always get an appointment on the same day if I need it. When I phone up I am usually on the phone for about 10 mins waiting to get through. Care navigator will always ask lots of questions they then triage the phone call. I do feel that the staff here are good.
Take too long to get through

I had to wait on the phone for over 40 mins, once I get through I can usually get a phone appointment but it is too long to wait to get through. I do find that the staff generally and reception staff are very good. The flu and covid jabs worked well.
No major issues

My feeling is that as I have no major issues, I do not need them very often. When I do, I am generally really unwell and they have got me in to see a nurse. As I am off work, that is fine. A ring back when you are working is difficult, and I tend to miss out on that.
cannot fit in with me

Working and trying to get an appointment is hard. They cannot seem to fit in with me, so I have to take time off. It is frustrating. I have not been offered a later appointment, so now I know I will ask them for that if it is that I am not actually off sick with it.
Good care most of the time

I get what I need and good care by staff most of the time.
We are older and need the GP service more often, so we notice that it is pretty good one week and less so another week. You do not see the same person, which can mean they have no background on you, which is frustrating. Nice people though and you do not have to wait too long on the telephone before getting through.

They always try to get you in

I do find that you have to wait a long time waiting on the phone to get through its usually about 15-20 mins. Staff are helpful and they always try to get you in, but if its one thing I am not keen on its having the reception person asking me lots of questions about my medical details but thats how it seems to be now. I actually saw a paramedic at my last appointment and I was a bit unsure beforehand but actually the appointment went much better than I expected and they were able to give me much more time than the GP normally does and I felt they were very thorough.
Nurses are very good

I always go into the practice to make my appointment face-to-face as I only live around the corner. Fairly recently, they picked up a health issue that I had and diagnosed it and put me on medication now. I think, if they had not picked it up, it could have been quite dangerous for me. So, for that I am grateful to them. I find the nurses are always very good, I have seen most of them now I think.

I have to say that the surgery is pretty good really, you do have to wait a bit to get through on the phone but its not too bad and you expect to have a bit of a wait. I liked the fact that they always let me know when its time for my routine jabs, its much better to be told rather than have to arrange yourself. So overall I would say very good.

I always ask my daughter to phone the surgery for me if I need to see someone, they have always been helpful and they dont mind my daughter ringing for me, I just find it easier if she does it.
Easy access

In contrast to my previous surgery, Framfield is great. I have always managed to get through to speak with them on the phone within 15 mins. I also feel listened to by the staff at the surgery, they seem to have the time to give. Staff are very helpful.
