Fantastic Staff

The staff were fantastic to mum, real care and kindness. I watched them daily and they did not falter to any patient and some were challenging. Such a hard job done so well.

No complaints at all about my treatment. Being able to have all the equipment I needed at home was a bonus. I must admit I did dread seeing the occupational therapist coming through the door to make me stand on my new hip - but they did a good job and didn't make me do anything I felt I wasn't ready to do.

Specialist nurses were very understanding - explaining what may/may not be needed in way of treatment. Sympathetic to residents needs, explained how long before contacting the home with follow up information

Really brilliant. I go regularly for injections in one of my eyes and really can't fault them at all.

A letter regarding a diagnosis from my GP was sent to a colorectal consultant in April, by email. I rang them a month later and spoke to a specialist nurse to find out what was happening. The letter wasn't with my files on the system. No reply as yet to my email sent yesterday secretary and nurses so very helpful. Stowhealth secretary will print a copy out for me to hand deliver to the nurses.

From start to finish all staff were friendly and chatty. Kept well informed throughout my stay. Staff appeared to enjoy their jobs.

Fracture Clinic

An elderly lady from a care home was admitted to A & E after a fall and required to return to the fracture clinic the next day. The appointment was for 9.10 which is very early for this elderly lady. I phoned the fracture clinic and was transferred to someone else and then back to the fracture clinic and this continued back and forth for a long time. Eventually the lady from the fracture clinic assisted me.
