Had an ECG and ecocardiac scan and finally the consultant gave me the results. - all within one hour.

Had a pacemaker fitted. I regard the whole experience as an efficient and excellent procedure. I wish my attendance could have been later than 7.30 am. I live 45 minutes away by car.. The food as usual was appalling. Recently I have had a hospital stay in Italy. Exactly the same standard & quality as in the UK. except pasta instead of potatoes. I rated the whole experience as factory-like. slick, no trimmings, fast.

Seems a lot newer and brighter and pleasanter than Ipswich

I use hospital cars to get to my appointments as my dialysis sessions last 3 hours and I'm not in a fit state to drive afterwards. What could be at most a 5 hour day is often between 8 and 9 hours a few times a week because I have to be picked up so early and often don't leave for a while after the treatment has finished.
