The lady I escorted arrived at 10.30am and hadn't been told that her appointment could take 3 hours or more. The lady was seen quickly by staff but there was no offer of food between 10.30am and 3.45pm. I went to the shop and bought her something.
The cleanliness was disgusting, there was a thick layer of dust on the bed that my lady was on, and the handrails on the bed were filthy too.

BAD
Urgent GP clinic

the diagnosis was incorrect, my son has had a fever for several days.
They said this was from their teeth and they sent us home. They told us to go back if something happened, after waiting for more than three hours we went back home without knowing what was happening with my son.

I took my baby Grand Daghter who had a very noisy fall onto her head fron sofa to marble floor.
I was quickly and efficiently booked in and sent to wait in a lovely childrens area.
I was triaged and then seen by a very helpful and patient doctor as baby did not want to be still.
I was given a leaflet exolaining the things that i should look out for and if necesary return to the department

The heart failure nurse from west suffolk hospital visits Sudbury which is great, we see the same person each time and she offers great support and feedback.
Struggle to care with complicated conditions
March 18, 2019
Specific care has been great but generic care on wards when you have a complicated health issue hasn't been so good. Its difficult for general wards to cope with you when they don't know or understand your condition and they make decisions that have consequences that they are not even aware of. The discharge planning for me was like a run away train, so much was being put in place without discussing it with me or my family.
Methodical approach
Cancer services
March 12, 2019
I was referred last year for cancer investigations and was very pleased with how staff explained things so well . All investigations were done quickly and with a methodical approach and I had a follow up MRI with in 5 days. Happy that they will follow up in February and I know what is happening.
Patient discharged with poor hygiene
Geriatric Medicine
February 22, 2019
Patient discharged, arrived home at 17:50. Unshaven for many days, hair unwashed and uncombed, incontinence pad stuck to the skin on their bottoms - had to be soaked off - appeared not to have been changed for a long time.
