Allied Health Professionals Suffolk (Physiotherapy)

It's my first appointment after my GP said to contact the physiotherapy team. I'm not sure it's the right thing to be doing but I'll see what they say. The process of booking the appointment worked okay and I got an appointment in a couple of weeks but the exercises don't seem to have done anything.

A bit long winded doing the online application but it did get me an appointment without much of a wait. It's my first appointment and although I have a range of issues they sent me exercises for my knees and seem to be focusing on them first. I didn't find the exercises made any difference in the two weeks I was doing them before the appointment.

The online referral was okay to do, there are a lot of questions but it's simple enough to do. I've attempted to do the exercises but it's not been that easy but the physio I see has been excellent, really thorough with good advice and I've been able to ask questions at all times. There have been two weeks between appointments and they are working as a team to assess the wider implications and next steps, it's been excellent.

After visiting my GP about my knee they referred me here and although I've only had 2 appointments so far the staff have been very good and really friendly. They went through my medical records really thoroughly and have taken my issues seriously. They clearly explained the next steps and I'm doing exercises at home. It's been great. I have had back issues too and unfortunately I did find at that point the issue was seen in isolation and didn't take in to consideration the wider issues that were impacting. I've never been asked for feedback around the treatment I received and the pain clinic have basically tdone all they can after this last procedure which I'm now waiting for.

I didn't go to my GP and just did an online self referral as it's much easier and quicker than going through the doctors. It's the second time I've used the service and the support provided each time has been very good and I've been pleased.

I've been coming for nearly a year and the exercises I do do hurt but also work when you persevere. The staff have been lovely and the continual support has been great. The App has worked really well to see the exercises I need to do, they are really well explained.

I found the group sessions worked very well for my knee and I saw real improvement. I'm now having appointments on a one to one basis and in all likelihood will then be referred on to the consultant. I've been very pleased with everything and really can't fault.

After contacting the service its been so quick to get the first appointment, under a week, the team have been really good and I've been very pleased with the physio.

I've found that the staff really listen to my experience around my ongoing condition and they have even made an onward referral to the hospital team for one issue. My condition is complicated and everything is taken in to consideration by the team. I never have to ask for more they do all they can to help me. I'm well included in the discussions around what to do next or the treatment options. They balance what is needed with what is practical to do. Treatment here is better than the service at the University and although it is closer I would much prefer to come here.

Although I haven't had my appointment yet I've been impressed with how easy it was to arrange the appointment. The staff member I spoke to was helpful when getting a date arranged and I've only had to wait two and a half weeks for the appointment.
