I go into surgery to make my appointments

This is a good surgery on the whole, the only think that can be frustrating is that it is very hard to get through on the phone, my husband actually chooses to drive down to the surgery to make his appointments face to face with the reception staff.

This is a good surgery, we think it is great that they offer X ray services and some scans too as well as paramedic and physio and other professional support, it is such a shame that it takes such a long time to actually get through on the phone.
Can't fault

Most of our appointments are for my parents and I've been able to get house calls whenever needed. I live locally so pop in to arrange appointments and they arrange a call back which then leads to an appointment. We have lots of involvement and staff are all great, I really can't fault the surgery.
Friendly and helpful

It does take time to get through on the phone in the morning so I come up to the surgery to arrange appointments. I generally only need routine appointments and can book those ahead of time. I get to see the practitioner I would like to see and the staff are all very good, friendly and helpful. Parking at the surgery is very limited and is a problem.

Able to get on the day appointment even if calling later in the morning and I'm happy to see any of the staff. The paramedic I've seen has been very good and even came out to and did a home visit. I really like that the xray facilities are on site too as it makes it quicker to get them done.

Its a very good surgery and pretty good to get on the day appointments or ones that are booked ahead. I've found the paramedic has been very good and the surgery manage my sons needs and have been very accomodating. My asthma is very well managed by the nurses and the only slight issue is that the parking is difficult.

Staff are caring and I don't feel that anything needs to change here. I get my jabs done whenever they are needed and it's always really well organised. Its an improvement to have the shelter when waiting for medication as I have had to wait at times.

I'm pleased with the surgery. There are not many advance appointments but on the day appointments are fine to get . The care navigators discuss the issues well and are willing to help make sure you see the right person. I was very pleased for the end of life support our family received , the doctors were great. My diabetic care has also been very good with regular monitoring by the nurses. It would be great to have the option to book appointments online.
Think very highly of the practice

To get children appointments is really good and all the staff have been excellent and its much more accessible and in touch than it has been. Have had a few issues with staff not knowing what paper work needs to be completed and the process to follow but online prescriptions work well.
Flexibility in the system

When I call for an appointment there is flexibility to allow for choice and the doctors provide the best care and are so helpful, it makes such a difference. I like that you can book about a week ahead rather than 3-4 weeks in some other surgeries. It would be great if online appointment booking could return.
