Has improved

It's a good surgery and has improved. Access to both GP and nurse appointments has been fine although the only thing that could be changed is how far ahead you can book B12 injections. The system doesn't allow the nurse to book the next appointment when you see them so I have to remember to book it my self .
Challenging

There have been no appointments for two weeks when I've called for routine issues, so I do find it more difficult and it is challenging to get that type of appointment. The concern I had was that for urgent issues the appointments wouldn't be available however this morning I was given a call back and then appointment virtually straight away.
Patient reception staff

I called in the morning and spoke to a care navigator and was given an appointment with a doctor which was great. The children are always seen quickly when needed so overall I'm happy with the surgery. I also feel that the reception staff are more patient and have improved recently.

The surgery is good and it does seem generally easier to get appointments but the only issue for me is not being able to have blood tests at the surgery. To get up to the health centre takes two buses or I have to find someone to take me.
Unclear why they ask questions

I don't really get why reception staff ask the questions they do as they appear to be asking medical questions at times.

Finding it very difficult to get to see a GP you just get given appointments with other staff or phone calls with them. Often staff will just say you are seeing x but not give their full name or whether they are a doctor nurse or paramedic. It always appears very empty when you do attend the surgery which can't be right.
A good surgery

There are no particular problems getting appointments by phone but I have found that some doctors don't listen as well as others and seeing different people for appointments means that at times you have to repeat your history at each appointment.

I've had no problems with the surgery at all. Today's appointment was booked ahead at my last appointment so it all works well. The staff are lovely and if there is anything urgent they do fit you in and the conversations with staff are great, very pleased with them.
A great surgery

I booked an appointment this morning by phone and it was quick and easy to arrange. I saw a lovely doctor and I find that the surgery works very well for me.

Always seen the same doctors with the children and on the same day. The waits on the phone aren't too bad and the staff have always been good and I've felt well supported.
