Can't fault

I'm happy with the doctors that I've seen and I really can't fault them with the care provided. I've always been able to get an appointment and the staff are really helpful and work everything out. It can't be easy for them there is lots of pressure on the surgery.

Easier access to the appointments now as most appointments are downstairs now. I did recently call late in the afternoon and was told to call back the next morning, which I did and the receptionist was very helpful and arranaged an appointment for me. The advanced nurse practitioner is great and very happy to see them but for some issues I would prefer to see the GP.

I have had quicker responses more recently when calling as the phones are answered quicker now. I do at times wonder why reception staff are the ones deciding who you have an appointment with as they are not medical.

Prefer face to face appointments

I don't really use the surgery much but I do prefer to have face to face appointments as I've mostly had phone consultations recently and at times feel it would've been better at to come in to be seen.

Alright surgery

Triaging does mean that you don't always get to see the right person. I've had instances when I've seen one person only to be told they couldn't deal with the issue and that I would need to see a doctor. I've also expected to receive a call back but it didn't happen so there are a few issues. It's now 6 weeks later and I'm now seeing someone to hopefully get things addressed. Communication with Addenbrookes has been difficult and has resulted in my medications being stopped when they haven't received letters from the hospital as they haven't seen the latest blood results. Because they do not see the results they then request the bloods to be done again which seems crazy.

I've been able to book appointments with reception and they've even brought the date forward. It's all good, I hadn't used the surgery for a long time until today and I've only had to wait a few days for it, it's all been very good.

Medically fine

I've managed to get appointments when needed and medically treatment is good but at times the way in which I've been spoken to has been a bit demeaning in tone.

Pretty good

Appointment to see the doctor this morning has been no problem to get and I've seen a very good GP. There is little continuity but every doctor I've seen has been good so it's not been an issue. Reception staff deal with things quickly and are so polite. I have had issues with my prescriptions with wrong medication and at the wrong strength too. It would help if it was possible to pick up 2 months supply of tablets rather than just the one.

Good surgery

Get to see staff as and when needed and I've had no problems getting appointments, I've always been looked after well and have had no problems. Staff are very helpful and they are good at explaining what will happen next. I was referred to physio and now waiting for that support.

I've been asked to come in for a review with the nurse today so the appointment was fine to arrange. It has got busier and is more tricky to get appointments since the closure of the other practice but it is still good. I have had some issues with prescriptions, where old items were given and not the requested items. Asthma care for our child has all been on the phone and since diagnosis we've not had a face to face appointment, even though we've had A&E visits.
