Takes ages to get an appointment

Thank you for your comment. Please note that we always have same day appointments with a GP available which can be accessed by requesting a call from the Duty GP.

The doctor didn't examine my shoulder where I was in discomfort so I wasn't told what it was. I have now to make an appointment with a nurse so I know what's the matter. Staff were really nasty to me and upset me

Timings of appointments & transportation

Haven House Surgery knew my condition but still expected me to attend nurse appointments. Shouldn't they come to me and save my expensive taxi visits?

Home visits by Haven Health staff and visits by the Community Nurses are prioritised according to need and are generally restricted to the very infirm, unwell or housebound. The costs to the individual patient of visits to the surgery is not something that we are able to address.I cannot comment in this particular case without knowing more details but would be more than happy to discuss the issues raised if contacted.
