Appointment letters have all arrived and explanations have. Appointments run to time. A bit further to travel which is ok as appointments are split between Ipswich and West Suffolk Hospital

I went to A & E following an accident and was then told I should be watched over the night so I had to stay in for longer than I'd hoped. The care from staff was good

Quick service. Was seen initially in A & E and then referred on. Been happy with how I've been treated and staff have been good. The tv screen works well the clinic areas and it's nice to have something to watch while you wait

Poor

End of life care
March 7, 2017
Many times there was only one core member of staff on the ward with agency staff on the ward with all the agency staff. Twice Mum was left in a wet bed and a few times we came in and found her on the floor. The doctor told us that as a cancer patient she shouldn't be on the ward and should be somewhere else. Considering this was end of life care I was shocked how they treated Mum. Not supported by staff during this time

After a fall I went to A & E and was seen quickly. Staff were good. However, I was given medication which when I saw my GP next day he told me to stop taking as I didn't have what they said I had

Great care but lacking information.

I went in to A & E the other day after falling in the bathroom. I have a fractured arm and have been given a sling. I know I will be getting a follow up appointment but not sure when or what for. Care in the department was excellent

Nephrology

Frequent moves in hospital. Moved from one ward to another to secure a bed but then did get a bed in the ward that dealt with kidney condition

Thank you for raising the issue of being moved from one ward to another, sometimes we have to move patients to a ward that has a specific specialism that can provide the best care. I am sorry that on this occasion this happened to you and I hope that it didn't cause to much disruption and you are making a swift recovery. Many thanks

Good but no need for multiple appointments

February 21, 2017
Should be a "one stop" appointment with a scan on each visit followed by an injection but often it has meant a return visit for the injection as time runs out

Many thanks for leaving your feedback regarding your treatment at Ipswich Hospital. I am sorry that you have had to make multiple trips, we try to minimise the visits to hospital for any patient were we can safely do so, unfortunately sometimes matters beyond our control can cause schedules to slip and we are always looking at ways to avoid this happening, I hope that this hasn't caused you to much inconvenience. Many thanks.
