Appointments good

Appointments are all good and on the day are available. Reception handle discussions well and the clinicians have been great, I don't see the same person but it doesn't affect the care I've received.
A bit of a wait

I've has a 12 day wait to see a specific doctor but it wasn't for anything urgent. Reception are very helpful and I've been able to do online fit notes which worked well. We've had translation arranged for appointments and sometimes this is the main reason for the delay of the appointment. The translators have been of a good standard and it has worked well to ensure that we understand everything that is going on.
Brilliant surgery

I can't praise them enough. I've had an appointment today after calling first thing and I've always had a positive experience getting an appointment including when I've done an econsult, which has covered all aspects and then I've been invited in by the GP. I've also been able to see a specific GP when I've wanted to see them. Its amazing they just need to continue what they're doing.

I feel that staff really listen and take on board my views. The phones aren't the easiest and there are waits to get through which can be concerning. The staff are good but I sometimes worry about being overheard when talking to reception staff.

I've been seen in the week for a non urgent issue but this hasn't always been the case and I've had to wait longer in the past.

The waits on the phone are the main issue but they are doing their best. I've found the telephone consultations have been fine and I've had face to face appointments when needed. The music that plays on the phone isn't great but I do think it was better before.
Worked well

Can't get seen as quick as I would like but call backs the same day have worked well if that's all I've wanted but for face to face appointments it has been more difficult and meant longer waits. The doctor, I assume I saw a doctor, was unable to address the issues I came in with as I needed a referral but they said they couldn't do it so I had to arrange another appointment, they do normally do a good job though.

Too many gatekeepers making it impossible to get a doctors appointment.

The doctor I see arranges follow up appointments for me in advance so I don't need to arrange them myself. The staff are helpful and if I need to I pop in to the surgery to arrange to be seen, I do not feel that there is any need for me to use online methods as it's easy to arrange things by popping in to the surgery and it costs less!
