Went for an all round check up

Went into the surgery for the first time in a while and was made to feel so comfortable by the practice nurse on duty. I am proud to call Swan my surgery.

I have complex medical issues and when I have needed advice or appointments I have always been treated with respect and kindness. My experience has been very positive.

Mostly lovely doctors . Lovely support staff

I feel I get a lot of support and respect from the staff. . I know you have to wait to go to the hospital , but the doctors do their best . The support staff are also very good . The pharmacy attached to the surgery are brilliant too . They are kind and caring , and have delivered to my house when I couldn’t get to the surgery . Overall , I don’t know where I would be without the surgery.

From reception, nurse, doctor and pharmacy - always had a good service and super friendly. I am pleased I chose to go with Swan Surgery.

Great surgery

I really can't fault the surgery they are great. I've had a recent fall and they even offered to do a house call to give me my flu and covid vaccinations.

Not reliable with telephones appointment

I called to get an appointment with someone as I'm struggling with anxiety and depression. The girls gave me a telephone appointment for next day at 9 am. Two days later and still nobody called me.

Lovely nurses

Really lovely nurses at the surgery. I don't feel that I get to see the same GP as often as I would like and with my complicated health condition it becomes obvious that my notes have not been read before appointments. It is difficult when you start talking about your condition and the doctor has never heard of it. When my health is so complicated being only able to discuss one issue at a time can be difficult and although some doctors are more flexible with this some stick to only the one issue at an appointment.

Terrible service

Unable to get an appointment within a month and then can only discuss one issue. Receptionists mislead you about who you have an appointment with, not their fault but due to lack of appointments. Told you are seeing a physician when it’s a physician associate - one is a doctor and one isn’t. A morning telephone appointment (the only option available) and I was rung at 3pm. And then told I’d have to make another appointment to discuss my other problems. I know the NHS is collapsing but this is disappointing.

Enormous sympathy for Swan Surgery team

Excellent medical and support staff, doing the very best they can under the increasingly impossible circumstances, under which the great National Health Service has been landed over the last decades.

Poor GP, zero guidance or help

GP was non-sympathetic, and did not help in any way. They were grumpy, and the advice given was common sense. If I wanted common sense I wouldn’t use a professional service.
Do not recommend.
